Grooming Course

This is a complete grooming course to becoming a professional pet groomer. Students will learn the difference and similarity between grooming a dog and cat as well as learning the correct technique to groom them. Students will be able to unlock their potential, as this course will focus on general aspects of the grooming industry as professional pet groomer.

With the insights of the Pets Icon Grooming Academy master groomers, this course gives you the solid foundation to your scissoring and clipping techniques, taking your skills to another level.

Full-Time or Part-time course available

Duration: Level C – 50 Classes (2 months)

Class Schedule:

Full-time: 5 days a week
Part-time: 2 days a week (Weekend classes available)

Poodle, Shih Tzu, Miniature Schnauzer, Yorkshire Terrier, Maltese, Pomeranian, Siberian Husky, Bichon Frise, Chow Chow, Standard Poodle.

Assessment Methodology

For the Practical : 80%
For the Theory : 20%

Learning Outcomes
Upon the successful completion of the courses, participants are able to:

Groom multiple breeds pet grooming independently
Groom dogs in condition such as matted, parasites, minor skin problem.
Handle different coat type dogs Compose the necessary knowledge and practical skills for further studies in advance grooming course

In addition, you will gain Malaysian Groomers Association (MGA) memberships.
